On reboot, however, it fails back to initramfs. On a fresh Ubuntu install with Xen (learning Xen, proficient with Ubuntu), I try to create a domU PV VM with LUKS encryption, the whole setup procedure goes smoothly, including creating, unlocking the encrypted volumes and completing the full installation.
